Additionally, the four pieces (the large tray and its three coordinated candleholders) bear the artist's authentic signature stamped into the material. The centrepiece of this set is a very large sculptural serving tray (or centre table) measuring no less than 66 cm in length and 33 cm in width. True to Marshall's unique artistic language, this set is made using an ancestral gravity casting process in sand. It showcases a striking and powerful contrast between the raw, matte, organic texture of silvered aluminium and the massive polished golden brass geometric inserts at the handles and bases.
