(first of all, a favorite: my objects are picked up with passion. They may have traces of time or visible imperfections. I try to point out these details as much as possible, but some marks may go unnoticed. Please examine the photos and description carefully before ordering.) description: plate from the delfts factory. The delft factory is located in the netherlands, in the city of delft, in south holland. It is a historic center of ceramics, known for its famous blue and white earthenware. Here, you discover the "boat" model, designed to be a wall decoration object. It has several glaze cracks on the front and back. Glaze cracks in earthenware are small cracks that appear on the surface of the enamel (glaze) covering the ceramic. They can form during firing or because of temperature changes after firing. Glaze cracks are common on high-temperature vitrified earthenware or porcelain pieces. Here, the cracks are minimal and do not seriously impact the earthenware. The dominant color is blue, but the background is more beige/blue than pure white. Characteristics: material: earthenware condition: good general condition. Some traces and marks due to time. Imperfections are noted. Two small holes are designed for hanging. Stamped on the back: delfts dimensions: diameter: 23.5 cm height: 2.5 cm ideal to complete your tableware or to offer to a tableware lover.
