Orion T101 wool rug by Ottavio Missoni for Missoni, 1991

Stunning “Orion T101” rug by Missoni Home, original edition from the maison’s Arazzi Patchwork collection, based on an original design by Ottavio Missoni in 1991. The rug is completed by a woven signature, entirely handmade, and crafted from pure multicolour virgin wool featuring extremely complex and richly varied geometric patterns. This is a very rare limited edition in this specific colourway, far more refined than other versions and in no way comparable to later productions made outside Italy. The rug is in excellent vintage condition, with only minimal and very minor signs of age on two corners; otherwise, it is virtually like new.
