Pair French Louis XV Ribbons And Bows Bronze Double Wall Lights. Each sconce showcases ornate ribbons and bows at the top of the backplate, with delicate tassels hanging at the base. Two graceful scrolling arms extend from each backplate, adorned with classic acanthus leaf motifs, leading to decorative candle drip holders. The candle sleeves are plastic with wear around the tops. Originally designed for candlelight, these sconces have been thoughtfully converted to electricity at some point in their history, making them both functional and full of old-world charm.The lights have French 2 core wiring and each sconce takes 2 small screw in bulbs E14s.These bronze sconces are in good vintage condition, showingcasing a beautiful natural patina and light wear consistent with age, which enhances their antique charm. The original card candle drips display age-appropriate wear and some melting around the tops, adding to their authentic character. Each sconce has a small hanging bar on the back for wall mounting after wiring. Please note: wall fittings are not included.
