Tom dixon unveils the mesmerizing mirror ball 50! Blown like a bubble of chrome chewing gum in a mold, its sought-after design and mirror effect create an impressive visual rendering: the plastic sphere is metallized according to a process commonly used in the production of sunglasses and space helmet visors from which it is directly inspired. At 3/4 mirror and 1/4 transparent, the internal metal design of the mirror ball concentrates the light and brilliance of the bulb, projecting a wide ray of soft light. A posed simply or in classic suspension, the mirror ball with its oversized look, both basic and extravagant will adapt perfectly to all interior styles. This piece dates from the 2000s, it is in very good condition despite slight traces of use.
