Three-seater velvet sofa, Germany 1960s, rusted, restored.

The sofa was manufactured in the 1960s in the former German Democratic Republic. Its appearance resembles that of Italian furniture, but it is made with German precision and sturdiness. This sofa has undergone a complete renovation. This involved removing the old material, sponges, and straps. The next step was to add new straps and a sponge. The renovation was completed with a beautiful velvet covering with stain-resistant properties - the legs were cleaned and repainted with teak varnish. All stages of the renovation were carried out by hand, using the same traditional methods as in the original. The sofa is stunning. All stages of the renovation were completed with consideration of the original production process.
