This piece of furniture stands out for the high quality of its carpentry and remarkable sculptural work: • High tripartite backrest richly carved with traditional motifs. • Legs and uprights made of spiral-turned wood (twisted columns) connected by an H-shaped stretcher, typical of the period. • Scroll arms providing a majestic and comfortable seating experience. Condition and renovation: The seat (foam and suspensions) as well as the upholstery fabric (floral and geometric jacquard pattern) have been completely redone by an upholsterer about 10 years ago. The seat remains firm, comfortable, and perfectly sound. Note: Signs of wear and natural patina of time on the fabric at the armrests and top of the backrest, which confirms its authenticity and charming use.
