Herend porcelain vase (hungary) 20th. Wicker floral decoration. Herend porcelain manufacture specializes in hand-painted and gilded luxury porcelain. In the middle of the 19th century, it was the supplier of the habsburg dynasty and the european aristocracy. The factory was present at numerous world exhibitions - in london in 1851 and 1862, in paris in 1867 and 1937, in vienna in 1873 and in brussels in 1935 - where it was often awarded (24 grand prix or gold medals).
