Superb olive wood cup created by tony bain for vallauris in the 1950s. Very beautiful work of the material by the sculptor, for an art object with an original contrast of texture between a smooth wood, soft to the touch, and a rough bark. An object full of contrast, also contrasts tones between the brown heart of the wood and the honey sapwood. Naturally beautiful, thanks to the choice of wood with pretty circular patterns.
