Rio chairs by Pascal Mourgue (designer)

Set of 3 chairs from the Rio series (1991) by designer Pascal Mourgue, manufactured by Artelano. Stackable chairs made of ebonized black contié plywood, curved tubular frames in lacquered metal. The metal wraps around the back of the chair, like a river (rio). Dining room or occasional chairs. Seat height: 46 cm. Some scratches on the metal and the wooden seat, due to normal wear. One flaw: a small nut is missing from one of the backs.
