Kamélé n'gomi

Kamélé n'goni. Malian instrument. It is 70 cm long and consists of a solid wood naviform sounding board, covered with calf skin and a thin, log handle that does not fully pass through. The nylon strings (4 traditionally, but up to 7 or 12 today) are attached with leather rings, parallel to the handle of the instrument that follows the same line as the sound box. They pass on a small fan bridge. Dimensions: about 76cm by 33cm. Ideal for ethical decoration. Sending possible. Missing a line of seashells. See photo. Probably to restore for a musician. A scratch on the leather.
