Maslaghan carpet circa 1960, in wool on cotton 132 cm wide by 200 cm long, in perfect condition, typical decoration of the central medallion cut from maslaghan carpets, placed on a field lacerated with large spikes, recognizable at first glance of all lovers and with very attractive colours. The small village of kerdar in iran, is the only place where the maslaghan are knotted and we recognize them, thanks to this large field in the shape of diamonds with the zigzag sides that take up the corners (corners) extending along the edges, and joining in the length of the carpet, this creating a completely unusual décor. Our carpet is widely strewn with flowers: roses, carnations, and daisies (slightly resembling minakhani, veramin carpet pattern). The four corners bring out on a black background, beautiful ornate rows taking up all the nuances of the carpet. The beautiful plain red medallion completely slices with the rest of the carpet and brings it an intense decorative side.
