Exceptional Sainte Radegonde ceramic trivet by Gustave Asch. Ivory braiding, enhanced by a turquoise twist, characteristic of the factory. Handcrafted in the 1950s. This piece testifies to the expertise and reputation of the Sainte Radegonde factory. Active in Tours from the late 19th century to the 1960s, the Sainte-Radegonde factory collaborated with Primavera (the Printemps department store workshop) to create lines of ceramic and earthenware tableware. Art Deco style. I also own the matching fruit bowl.
