This Scandinavian dining set, attributed to the manufacturer Niels Vodder, is an authentic representation of Danish design from the 1960s. It consists of an extendable dining table and four matching chairs, embodying the functional elegance of mid-century style. The table, initially round in shape, is made of teak. Thanks to an integrated extension system, it transforms into a large oval table that can accommodate up to eight people. When extended for eight people, a retractable leg unfolds. The four accompanying chairs feature a teak structure and comfortable seats upholstered in black Skaï. The set is in generally good condition, with two small chips on the tabletop and three small stains that do not detract from its appearance. There is one tiny hole in the Skaï of one of the chairs. With its clean lines and natural materials, this set fits perfectly into a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, or contemporary interior. This set serves as a centrepiece for a dining room, combining aesthetics, history, and conviviality. Table diameter 118 cm for 4 people. Table length with 1 extension 168 cm for 6 people. Table length with 2nd extension 218 cm for 8 people. Chair seat height (slightly sloped) from 43.5 cm to 44 cm, depth 37 cm, width 49 cm, height 76 cm. Carefully packaged. Tracked shipping.
