The German-born designer emigrated to Colombia in 1930 and founded his furniture workshop Arte Sano — meaning "handmade" — where this chair was produced in 1970. It is a brutalist Mid-Century Modern design made from wood and high-quality brown leather, with wear consistent with its age, and is in good vintage condition.
