Superb antique ironstone compote dish, signed on the reverse F.V / L.M & Cie, corresponding to the Creil & Montereau factory (Lebeuf, Milliet & Cie), active at the end of the 19th century. This piece features an elegant purple transfer decoration, adorned with stylized floral and foliate friezes running along the rim and foot. The piece displays a beautiful patina with fine glaze cracks, attesting to its authenticity without detracting from its luster. There are no major cracks or chips to report, only a few natural signs of age. This compote dish perfectly embodies the charm of 19th-century bourgeois tables. It can be used as a fruit stand, centerpiece, or simply as a decorative object in a kitchen or dining room with character. Dimensions: Height: 13 cm. Diameter: 26 cm.
