Sofa, Italy, 1960s

1950s/1960s, sofa/couch with a form reminiscent of classic midcentury modern designs. It will look nice as the focal point of a cozy living room or a piece of furniture with character in the office. The upholstery is made of thick, lime (yellow with a slight green) velor with a weave resembling corduroy. The seat is a contrasting raspberry pillow. Condition: Construction: very good - strong, stable, not inhabited. Furniture surface: good - small abrasions of the bristles of the material, two holes under the raspberry cushion, spots and dirt on the material. Generally, sofa is in good condition, considering its age and use. You can refresh it and use it in its natural condition. The furniture is also an ideal, graceful base for renovation. It has a unique, timeless form and a heavy, solid structure, very rare in modern/present furniture.
