Art Deco sideboard in oak and wrought iron by Léon and Maurice Jallot, 1940s. France. Exceptional sideboard matching table reference 2094. Its architectural and perfectly symmetrical composition rests on two powerful rectangular supports joined by a wide base. The façade features two richly crafted doors, adorned with sculpted panels with geometric relief patterns. In the centre, a spectacular wrought iron design with scrolls provides a graphic contrast and highlights the decorative character of the piece. The generous volumes, deeply moulded frames, and the combination of light oak with patinated metal testify to particularly meticulous cabinetmaking. This creation combines the rigor of Art Deco with a more architectural and neo-rustic aesthetic, characteristic of the great French decorators of the interwar period.
