Vintage scented oil burner in glazed stoneware signed Paralou – 1970s/80s. A very beautiful charming object that is both aesthetic and functional: a vintage scented oil burner (essential oil diffuser / nightlight) in glazed stoneware, entirely handcrafted. This unique piece of studio ceramics is signed "Paralou" incised under its base. It consists of two removable elements: • A low openwork lantern with a wide arched opening to insert a tealight and a small side chimney for air circulation. • An independent high reservoir, shaped like a round vase, designed to hold water and your essential oils or scented wax melts. The glazing work is remarkable, displaying beautiful speckled shades of midnight blue, frothy white, and brown. The bases of both parts are left in raw clay, typical of wheel-thrown pottery. Brutalist, Bohemian chic, Wabi-sabi, Contemporary rustic style. Glazed stoneware / art ceramics. Perfect vintage condition, no chips, no cracks. Total height 16 cm, diameter 6 cm, depth 8 cm. Ideal for enhancing a soft and warm atmosphere on a sideboard or coffee table.
