The pruszków earthenware factory was founded in 1872 by jakub teichfeld and ludwik asterblum, owners of a faience label on koło. It produced earthenware dishes and majolica products. The earthenware was decorated with the technique of stamping, the predominant ornaments were in the form of flowers, fruits and leaves. During the twentieth anniversary in the interwar period, the factory's assortment was expanded by ceramics. The production of stove tiles has been launched. After the war, the company was nationalized. It takes the name of zakłady fajansu of pruszków. In the mid-50s, the activities were modernized. These changes concerned in particular the launch of production from a new material: porcelain. The factory was given the following name: zakłady porcelitu stołowego "pruszków". The design center was founded in 1958. His main task was the preparation of drawings for future achievements. One of the first designs is the coffee service "primo" designed by gabriela śleżewska in the early 60s, the models were developed in the factories of the institute of industrial design. Pruszków specialises in tableware products.
