Chrome barber mirror – 1950s/60s

Small French barber mirror with character, dating from around 1950-1960, recognisable by its elegant chrome metal frame with rounded corners. Its compact size and back system allow it to be placed or hung, giving it beautiful decorative versatility. The back consists of a cardboard panel covered in red fabric. The whole piece shows normal signs of age: marks and patina on the back covering as well as some marks on the chrome. An object particularly suited for Mid-Century, retro, or barber shop style decor, but also interesting as a small vanity mirror in a bathroom or bedroom. Dimensions: 20 × 14 cm.
