Large sculptural vase in artistic blown glass, attributed to a Venetian workshop, circa 1980-1990. This remarkable piece captivates with its organic silhouette and sculptural presence. Made of thick blown glass, it features a freeform shape with soft curves, highlighted by a slightly asymmetrical neck and a wavy rim that reflect the craftsmanship of the glassmaker. The satin surface delicately diffuses light and reveals a subtle gradient of lilac, mauve, and frosted white tones. Depending on the lighting, the material seems to change in depth and density, offering particularly refined luminous effects. The texture of the glass, its weight, and its finish evoke the work of certain glass workshops in Venice at the end of the 20th century. It somewhat embodies the spirit of Scavo creations often associated with Cenedese. Heavy and generously proportioned, it can hold a few branches or flowers, but possesses enough decorative strength to be displayed alone as a true sculptural object. Dimensions: Height: 31 cm. Base diameter: 20 cm. Maximum width: approximately 25 cm. Opening diameter: 8 cm. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Slight irregularities in shape, texture, and small internal bubbles are inherent to the artisanal production of blown glass and contribute to the authenticity of the piece.
