Round mirror in rattan and bamboo by Franco Albini - Italy, 1960

Magnificent round mirror in rattan and curved bamboo by Italian designer Franco Albini, dating from the 1960s. This iconic model of Mid-Century design features its very rare articulated hanging chain made of original rattan links. A major element of authenticity: the back is fully covered with its original burgundy velvet felt. Very good overall condition for its age. The rattan is sturdy with a beautiful honey patina. The glass is clean. The velvet shows some light traces and normal signs of use (see photos), which attest to its authenticity of over 60 years.
