Set of 4 Baumann sled model chairs – French modernist design – a

Elegant set of four sled model chairs published by the Baumann factory, an emblematic figure of 20th-century French furniture. These pieces perfectly illustrate the mastery of bent wood that has made Baumann renowned, with a fluid structure in teak-stained beech forming a sled base of great graphic purity. The design, both minimalist and warm, fits within the modernist aesthetic of the 1970s, heavily influenced by Scandinavian design. The gently enveloping curved backrest interacts with a generous and comfortable seat, fully padded. The whole presents a very beautiful homogeneity, ideal for a contemporary interior, an elegant dining room, or an interior architecture project. The fabric, in a natural beige tone, offers a subtle and timeless texture, perfectly in harmony with the warmth of the wood.
