Sputnik Space age chandelier with 6 lights from the 50s/60s

Magnificent 6-light chandelier circa 1960. Very rare model from the so-called "sputnik" series, completely in the space age spirit of this era, inspired by flying saucers and other space satellites. The one presented here has a cream-colored satin metal structure with chrome-plated brass suspension rod and claws. The very beautiful tulips are made of white harlequin sandblasted glass. The chandelier measures 68 cm in diameter and 60 cm in height. The tulips are 16 cm high and 16 cm in diameter. Finally, the ceiling light measures 4 cm in height and 9 cm in diameter. In impeccable, ultra-quality condition, this superb chandelier (the photos only partially capture its aesthetic) will become a remarkable piece of your decor, in a living room of course, a large entrance, but also in a designer kitchen above the corner meal...
