The design is distinguished by bold rectangular blocks, diagonal lines, and a black and cream checkerboard pattern. The thick, matte velvet displays a soft and visible texture as well as a dense and regular weave. A narrow purple border frames the sides, while natural wool fringes finish the short edges.
