A mix of 8 old viennese bistro chairs in curved wood. They are all of the so-called "1/2" format that appeared at the end of the nineteenth century by all manufacturers, chairs less high and less wide seating for public places to optimize the number of seats in rooms. Here we have 3 kohn chairs of model n°62 1/2 with buttresses, stamped with wsetin austria, perforated wood bottom, trilobed pattern. A chair n°18 1/2 with buttresses of thonet, perforated wooden bottom star pattern; a fischel chair n°88 1/2 and a mundus chair 113 1/2, pyroengraved wood background art nouveau motif. Finally two thonet n°14 1/2 with perforated wood bottom clover pattern (one was redone during the course of life). -- the lot is in its juice of find, common marks of age, use and small usual repairs. Patina of experience.
