Superb set of 8 kyoto sepia flat plates in clairefontaine earthenware, circa 1878. They depict japanese-style decorations in cartouches or circles, with a samurai fighting a giant snake, a character with a fan, mount fuji, lovers and a peasant. In very good condition, very shiny pieces and lively patterns. Slight traces of time possible in the form of hair. Dimensions: 23cm in diameter. Net weight unpacked: 3.2kg.
