Elegant wall sconces from the Italian manufacturer Palladio from the 1960s. The set consists of four neoclassical wall sconces. The design mimics classic wall candle holders. Instead of candles, the sconces are fitted with E14 sockets and are electrified. The lights are patinated accordingly and decorated with matching ornamentation. The base is veneered and features a crown-shaped top. A golden star is placed at the centre as a decorative detail. Two arms curve forward on each side. The back ends of the arms form bird heads. The sockets are located at the front ends. The lights bear the Palladio mark multiple times on the back. The label indicates the production date as December 1969. The lights are in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. They have been meticulously restored and the electrical system has been professionally replaced.
