Rare Modernist Secretary Cabinet by Bas van Pelt for My Home Netherlands 1930s

Beautiful modernist secretary cabinet designed by Bas van Pelt in the 1930s for My Home, Netherlands. It is marked with the original metal plate at the backside. These early modernist works by Bas van Pelt are very rare and hard to find. It is made of oak wood. The outside is stained in black, which is still original, with a fantastic patina. The secretary is very functional. It has a flap which can be used as a desk, with a nice interior behind. The original key is with it. Underneath it has two drawers and below the drawers there is a division for storage. It has beautiful rounded feet and spherical metal handles, of which one (the right one) is not original. This amazing piece is in very good original condition with the perfect patina.
