Military commode in solid oak and brass circa 1880

We are delighted to offer for sale this very beautiful military campaign chest of drawers made from solid oak with oversized brass fittings, including a secretary desk with a brown embossed leather top, bordered with mahogany wood, dating from around 1880. A very fine and rare piece, made for an important military officer. The drawers feature a central secretary desk with a working surface in embossed gold leather. The condition is good with an authentic patina: one internal handle is missing and the top shows signs of use and age. Dimensions at the widest point: height 93 cm, width 122.5 cm, depth 53 cm.
