The "Calin" armchair and ottoman were designed by Pascal Mourgue for Cinna/ Ligne Roget in 1994. An artist more than a designer, Pascal Mourgue first sculpted a few poufs in the sand before putting the "Calin" armchair into production . The result was a chair with a pillow-like comfort level, based on the principle of a folded and reclining pillow. The structure allows tilting in three positions. The padding is made of high density polyurethane foam. The covers are removable and can be easily machine washed. The base is in aluminum with epoxy steel finish. A tear on the seat hence the price but nothing irreparable
