Wooden farmhouse console circa 40/50

Vintage farmhouse console of beautiful size circa 40's/50's.this beautiful piece of contemporary rustic style is simply elegant, classic and modern at the same time. It is made of chestnut and pine with an oak color finish and comes straight from the perigord where it was used in a farm. It is in its original state, with these old original pegs (see photo) it has been completely cleaned treated and glossed with linseed oil to preserve to its maximum its integrity and patina of time. It is strong and stable. There are of course traces and marks of use and use on the tray the apron and the feet, (see photos) but rather than sand it and redo it I preferred to keep its cachet which makes its charm. (there are original skates (see photo)personally I see it very well in wall console against a large wall, in an entrance, a living room or bathroom, it could also be used in a more restricted place or in a kitchenette as a side table or as a dining table or as a small desk for a home office.
