Antique Bonnetiere Cabinet

Antique bonnetière (mid-19th century) in solid oak, pegged. Three shelves inside, a drawer at the bottom. It has been in our possession for at least 50 years. The wood is split at the top at the peg, see photo, but this did not prevent it from being dismantled and re-pegged during a previous move. The very sober lines of this piece of furniture allow it to be installed in many rooms, alongside more modern furniture. At home it was in a large kitchen.
