Period: ca. 1920-1940. A nice shot service consisting of a carafe and five shot glasses. Frosted glass has a pale pink color that tends towards a peach hue. Two sets of three thick golden bands adorn the body; the glass is clear under these strips. The legs of the carafe and the glasses have a very thick golden stripe. The cap has gilding on the sides and has been left clear on the top. It's hand-blown glass. The label would normally read 'cristalor', the name of a series produced by the belgian glassworks de rupel (1923-1982) in boom; their glassware is usually called 'boom glass'. The golden age of the factory was in the 20s when there was a production of refined blown and hand-painted pieces in the art deco style. Condition: very good. No damage. The golden bands are in good condition which is rare for these pieces but there is some thinning on the cap. Dimensions: carafe: 22.5 cm high with cap, 12 cm wide. Glass: 7 cm.
