Nubia bronze stool

Unique, the NUBIA stool is much more than just a seat. It is a sculptural piece, a work of art inspired by African forms and traditions, crafted from solid bronze. Each piece is entirely unique, handcrafted with attention to detail and a strong desire to preserve the raw, authentic character of the material. I imagined it as a tribute to my island, Martinique. To my Africa. To my Black culture. A raw and beautiful piece. Complex and profound. Sometimes painful. A material shaped to reveal its strength, its marks, its history without ever erasing them. NUBIA is a perfectly imperfect piece. It carries within it this duality: that of a beauty shaped by stigmata, transcended by resilience. It is a living, singular, silent work, but full of stories.
