Console Louis-Philippe (renovated)

This antique Louis-Philippe walnut console is distinguished by its curved legs and narrow proportions. It is currently topped with an old marble slab that adds character. Materials: the console is made of solid cherry wood. It is topped with an old marble slab that is not the original. Features: the console has a straight belt resting on two curved legs joined by a low shelf. Its small footprint allows it to be easily placed against a wall, in an entrance, a living room, or a bedroom. The old marble slab shows irregularities and marks related to its age (including a visible impact in the photo). Renovation: the walnut structure has been completely sanded, treated against wood-eating insects, and then waxed to nourish and protect the wood while maintaining its natural appearance.
