This lithograph “la féérie des heures - la neige” is signed henri rivière in the lower right corner. The work is authentic and old. Regarding the condition, we note in the margin a tear from the edge to the litho (3.6 cm), another tear (0.5 cm), stains and dirt, traces of folding. On the litho, we note a tear (1.5 cm) and small stains. The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible. Sold as presented. Henri rivière (1864-1951) is a french painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving, specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer in 1886, from the shadow theater to the chat noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
