Alain bonnefoit, born in paris on may 18, 1937, is a french painter, lithographer, draftsman and sculptor. Alain bonnefoit was a student at the école des arts appliqués duperré from 1953 to 1955, then at the école nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in paris from 1956 to 1957, as well as at the royal academy of fine arts in brussels from 1959 to 1960, then a student of the sculptor antoniucci volti at the beaux-arts in paris. Nude painter, he practices the japanese technique of calligraphy called sumi-e.
