Set of 6 vintage American folding deck chairs in hardwood, 1940s–1960s.

Set of six vintage folding deck chairs from the United States, dating from around 1940 to 1960. The chairs are made of solid hardwood, likely teak, and feature a fully folding construction. The frames are assembled with riveted joints, allowing the chairs to fold flat for easy storage. Each chair has a high slatted backrest, wide armrests, and a low slatted seat. The upper parts of the backrests feature decorative carved and inlaid details, with slight variations between each chair. The wood has developed a heavily patinated surface with colour variations, traces of old finishes, marks, and other signs of age and use. This aged surface has been preserved and is an integral part of the set's appearance. The chairs remain in good vintage condition, and the folding mechanisms work properly. Please refer to the photos to see the individual variations and condition. Suitable as relaxation seating for a terrace, porch, or covered outdoor space. Dimensions per chair. Width: 74 cm. Depth: 85 cm. Height: 105 cm. Seat height: 37 cm.
