Saint-Louis crystal ashtray with green lining Overlay Ambassador model

This superb ashtray is made of cut crystal from saint-louis, it is the "ambassadeur" model. In a modernist style, this solid ashtray is made of green-lined crystal and decorated with deep cuts. This technique of colored crystal in the mass is called "overlay". This ashtray or pocket emptier dates from the 1970s. It measures 15 X 7 cm in height. I note scratches from use, as well as discreet defects and small chips on the edges.
