Handmade turned wooden foot lamp

Pretty lamp whose foot is turned wood patinated by the years and sporting a beautiful veining and harmonious proportions. It's a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, probably from the 50s or earlier. The brass socket is intended for a bayonet bulb and is equipped with the ring that allows to maintain a lampshade (not supplied). You are free to find a lampshade to your liking or to highlight this pretty foot by adding just a beautiful bulb. The electrification seems to me to be original and especially the charming old-fashioned switch. I tested it, it works. It has some relatively discreet traces of time (small water spots, marks and scratches) and some original "defects" (a knot and a crack in the wood that have been plugged with dark wood pulp). The foot is 25 cm high and 29 cm including the socket. The maximum diameter is about 10 cm. The wiring measures about 190 cm (measured from the outlet at the foot to the electrical outlet). The whole weighs about 900g.
