De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi, Grand’Italia sofa for Zanotta. Italy, circa 1980.

Designed by the famous trio Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi, the Grand’Italia sofa was manufactured by Zanotta in the 1980s. It consists of a cast aluminium frame and cushions filled with feathers, covered in anthracite grey leather. Signs of use and minor wear, generally in good condition. Each piece is carefully cleaned and, when necessary, restored in accordance with its original design. Slight signs of use and a natural patina may remain, as an integral part of its history.
