Authentic four-drawer chest in solid pine attributed to the famous architect and designer Charlotte Perriand for the Les Arcs resort (France, circa 1960-1970). A true icon of 20th-century French brutalist and alpine design, this piece is distinguished by its architectural simplicity, robust construction, and circular handles carved directly from the wood, emblematic of Charlotte Perriand's work. Features: Material: Solid pine. Storage: 4 large sliding drawers offering excellent storage capacity. Period: 1960s - 1970s. Style: Alpine / Modernist / Brutalist Design. Condition: Good structural and functional condition. The piece is in its original state with a beautiful patina. It shows signs of use and visible surface scratches on the top and sides (see photos), which testify to its history without compromising the piece's sturdiness. It can be left as is to maintain its authenticity or lightly sanded/oiled according to preferences.
