6 wooden chairs and brutalist straw, 1950

Brutalist style chairs in pine and straw, french manufacture of the 50s. These handcrafted chairs have a rough finish. The pine frame has been brushed to give it an irregular veining that makes all the charm of the chair. Their minimal and refined look will go very well in a "wabi sabi" design style or in a more classic style of "country house" type around a farmhouse table. All the charm of these chairs lies in the ambivalence of their style, both sophisticated and rustic. A must difficult to find. Structure assembled entirely with exposed wooden dowels (see photos). Set of 6 chairs, possibility of purchase by the unit (see shop). Very good general condition, be careful however one of the chairs have a small lack of straw at the level of the backrest (see photos).
