Also called "dagobert" chairs, these armchairs are made of richly carved solid walnut and decorated with mother-of-pearl. They are distinguished by their typical syrian craftsmanship patterns and their decorative inlays in the form of stars. The curved armrests at the ends are carved with arabesques. The openwork and lively backrest has a center forming a disc surrounded by three carved elements joining the backrest. The solid seats are made of slats and rest on crossed legs forming an x-shaped base, characteristic of the curule style.
