These three old white tin biscuit boxes from the middle of the last century have a lot of history. With their illustrations, they carry the charm of a time far removed from individual plastic packaging. You dipped your hand in it and it was a lottery... Too bad if the biscuit chosen was not the one you had hoped for, you ate it without making a fuss. But you could always admire the boxes on which there were pretty illustrations. These three models tell us about Mother Michel, the fables of Jean de la Fontaine and Spanish folklore. The box on which you can see Father Lustucru is part of a series on old songs from France. The illustrator Bozz is none other than Rob-Vel, the creator of Spirou who had not yet given birth to his famous little groom at the time... The box of the Damoiseau brand is illustrated by Hirschfeld Frères Strasbourg. There is a different fable on each side. We have no information about the third box, which is the largest. But its designs are borrowed from a charming romanticism with a musician serenading a beautiful flamenco dancer. The boxes are in their original condition, the sheet metal is naturally oxidized and this adds authenticity and charm to the whole which will delight lovers of retro decor or collectors.
