Magnificent floor lamp from the 1950s, featuring a bronze enamelled aluminium shade with soft reflections. Designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape and manufactured by Orno, this floor lamp has an upper part made of glass and a lower perforated section, reminiscent of Alvar Aalto's creations. It diffuses a soft and pleasant light. In excellent original condition, it showcases a beautiful patina. Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907-1989) was a renowned Finnish designer, famous for her innovative creations in lighting and furniture. She gained recognition in the mid-20th century for her minimalist and functional approach, prioritising simplicity, quality materials, and optimal light diffusion. Collaborating with major Finnish brands like Orno, her lighting designs have become icons of Scandinavian modernism.
