Original engraving by albert-georges bessé, born may 1, 1871 in blois and died in niort on december 31, 1958, french engraver and painter. It is based on a work by julien dupré. Julien dupré (1851-1910) is a french realist painter who is in the filiation of the barbizon school and more particularly of jean-françois millet (1814-1875) and jules breton (1827-1906). He specialized in the painting of rurality and in particular in animal painting, of which he is one of the best representatives of his time.
