Rattan and bamboo basket bed, Ondaflex 1960

Magnificent basket bed / day-bed, in woven blond rattan. The original metal spring base comes from the great Italian brand Ondaflex created in Modena in 1959. It accommodates a 190 x 80 mattress. The feet fold under the bed, to allow a young child to move from one small bed to a large bed, without risk of falling, or to optimize storage when using an extra bed. It is undoubtedly this nomadic function which makes the undeniable success of this basket bed from the 60s. Ideal for vintage decoration. This piece of furniture is old, in good condition, with traces of its use and some small missing pieces of rattan (see photos).
